Hey, how are you? Are you ok?
It’s ... Feature Friday and its the 1st of February (already)
This weeks feature we are talking a look back at one of our early designs for the lovely Victoria and Oliver who came to us with a very specific theme... Cuba.
Now Vic loves, and I mean LOVES the colour pink. She told us about how their big day was going to be filled with pink as she held her pink pen and opened her pink paper pad. That made the design even easier... an elegant pink colour palette it was.
We wanted to give the passports a Vic and Oliver version of Cuba so as you can see from the pictures we brought in the Cuban flag and made it fit the colour scheme. The background had a slight woven effect to mimic the look of passports but also a holiday vibe and the matt laminated finish pulled the style together perfectly.
As the hotel where they were getting married provided the other elements within the package it wasn’t until they were arranging the wedding party for their family and friends who couldn’t travel that they came back to us to produce their “home wedding” invites. Of course we were over the moon to help.
Having been able to design their first invites we wanted to keep the theme for the home invites. And what better way to keep the holiday vibe alive than design a boarding pass style invite. We added perforation to the DL sized invite as the RSVP so their guests could tear them off and return to Vic and Oliver.
We had such a lovely time working with Vic and Oliver to produce their big day(s) invites we couldn’t wait to share them with you... take a look and let us know what you think
